MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY

It is not often that you will hear a distress call coming from a Coastwatch lookout station as we are here to respond to cries for help not to make them. However as we survey the surrounding seas through our powerful binoculars salvaged from a German E-boat keeping a watchful eye over the inshore waters between Herne Bay and Reculver we find ourselves under fire from an unsuspected source. Whether it be an act of aggression or just accidental friendly fire we are yet to determine but nevertheless we have sufferred a broadside hit that could possibly sink us and we need the world to hear and respond to our mayday call.
Our position 51 22.4N 001 08.5E
